Victor Sanchez leaves Barca

FC Barcelona and Victor Sanchez have reached an agreement to rescind the player's contract.
FC Barcelona retain the right to buy back the player until the winter transfer winter in 2012, as well as a percentage of any further transfer payment.
Victor Sanchez played at Xerez two seasons ago, where he made 25 appearances and moved onto Getafe last year, where he played 27 games. Sanchez made14 appearances with the first team in 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 seasons.

Carles Puyol running again a month after operation

Club captain Carles puyol continues with his recovery from the operation he underwent at the start of June and this Friday, accompanied bu trainer Juanjo Brau, he did his first running in training.
As Puyol explained on his twitter account this Friday, he began running in training and "felt no pain at all' and he will continue to work on gradually increasing his training, after finishing the first stage of recovery based on recovering muscle tone on the injured leg.

Barcelona will play against Chivas and club America in the Herbalife World Football Challenge

Major League Soccer and CAA sports have announced the fixtures for the Herbalife World Football Challenge to be held in USA.
FC Barcelona which will participate between july 30th and august 6th have also announced that Turkish Airlines will be the main sponsor for the team's us tour.

The game against Mexico's Chivas de guadalajara will take place on august 3rd at 20.00 (local time) at Miami's sun life stadium. Club America will be barca's opponents three days later at the cowboys stadium in arlington, texas at 16.00 (local time).Barca will also star in a re-runof this year's champions league final when they take on Manchester United at the fedexfield in landover, MD at 19.00 on July 30th.

Barcelona's Thiago Alcantara Signs A New Deal Contract Extension.

The highly rated Spain Under-21 starlet is overjoyed with his new contract until 2015 and is eager to prove his worth at the Catalan giants in the coming seasons

Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara has expressed his delight with his contract extension and is eager to prove his worth in the 2011-12 campaign.
Thiago ended speculation over his future on Wednesday when he signed a new deal with the Catalan giants until the summer of 2015, despite supposed interest from clubs such as Roma and Villarreal.

He told the club's official website: "It's a dream to continue with this team and this club. I am really happy. Now It’s time to share it with my family. I never thought about leaving. I’ve always wanted to be here.
"The club has already done everything for me. They’ve trained me, I’ve come up through the youth ranks, they trusted me to play last season in the first team, and they offered to renew my contract. Now it’s up to me to prove that I can play for Barcelona and help the team to stay at the top."

The 20-year-old is a product of Barca's youth academy and is seen as one of the most promising young stars to break through into the first team, and he guided Spain to the European Under-21 Championship in Denmark, scoring in the final.
